  Disturbing experience. My wife and I took our kids here for a late lunch this weekend. Our waiter was terrible and our wait time was extremely long. After a long wait, the "General Manager" who introduced himself as "Joey" explained that the kitchen had "new people" and that he was "sorry for our wait." This would have been ok I guess, but the disturbing part was that "Joey" clearly seemed to be under the influence of something other than alcohol. In between sentences, it appeared like he was going to pass out or fall asleep. Clearly a drug addict. I do not recommend. Do yourself a favor and go to Big Daddy's or Paul's and stay clear of this place.

  Horrible experience. Food is very over priced for what you get. Tasted terrible. I had the German meat balls with sourkraut and potato salad. I ate maybe 15% of my dish. I couldn't stomach it. I'm nauseous writing this.
  
  We ordered gulash as an appetizer and it came out about a minute before our entrees. Our server commented​ that they don't even eat the food there. As someone who has been a server, that's definitely a tell of what goes on in the kitchen. I had my entree and the appetizer removed from the bill and the total was still $25. That's with water to drink and no desserts. Very poor value.
  
  Restaurant was unbearably cold too. I'm talking teeth chattering cold and I'm from the North. Avoid this place like the plague.

  Very good German food and beer selection. Prices are somewhat high, but in line with other tourist areas. Worth a visit just for the giant pretzel with beer cheese! Service was good; we had a lot of fun interacting with the wait staff ... probably best to avoid peak times if you can.

  Came here for lunch and ordered the schnitzel sandwich purely because the rest of the menu entrees seemed to run really pricey compared to the other restaurants in the area. However the schnitzel was delicious and well worth the price. Our seating also had a very pretty view of the creek right next to the restaurant. The service was good, although to be fair there was only one other couple at the restaurant at the time.
