  If you are expecting a Starbucks kinda place this is not for you. But yes they give you tasty and original coffee options in a simple and relax space. Remember that Helen could be crowdy and here you gonna have all the reason to wanna make a break with a good cup of coffee

  Great little coffee shoppe. The caramel mochiato was perfect. Cakes looked good. Breakfast pastries would be a nice touch.

  Yesterday I had one of the worst experiences here and I would normally feel bad about writing a bad review and never before did I think I would even write a review like this about a place because I understand everyone has a bad day, but I feel strongly inclined to do so now after my last experience here. I really enjoyed the atmosphere of this place previously as I live in Cleveland so I frequently come to Helen. A friend and I decided to spend our day off walking around Helen and enjoying the day. We went into the coffee shop and stood waiting patiently until the Barista came up to us at the counter and told us she could not serve us. I politely asked her why and she responded with I just can't. I told her I haven't done anything wrong to her nor to this establishment and was then cut off with her saying I don't care. My friend asked if she would be served and was told yes but once she tried to order my drink, she was then told she also could not be served. Her reasoning being a personal issue with me after I ended a friendship between the two of us which is no grounds to refuse service. It would have been understandable if I came in being rude, or caused a scene before in there, but since that's not the case, there was no legitimate reason to act that way. My mom being an hr manager and understanding the legal aspects of this emailed the owner and explained to her what happened. She was told that it would be dealt with. Then a photo was posted showing a dismissal of the employee's actions and stated it as "petty drama". It's one thing for an employee to act that way considering you cannot control how people act but for the owner to dismiss arbitrary discrimination is completely unnaceptable. If you're employee is the one who chose to start "petty drama" maybe you should take it more seriously considering they are the ones who represent your company vs taking the easy route out and blaming it on the customer.

  Nice and quiet place to read a book, and have some coffee. The staff where very nice, and the coffee was great.
